My husband and I stayed here once before in the Club Deluxe Marina Room and I was so blown away by just about every aspect of the stay! The room we got was spacious with an awesome Marina Bay view, the club lounge fed us delicious grub all day, and service was thoughtful and personalized. So when the promo codes and prices were aligned on Trip.com again, I immediately secured us a return stay (:

- Inclusions:
- 1-night stay in Club Premier Suite (upgraded from Club Deluxe Kallang Room)
- The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge access
- Breakfast, mid-day snacks, afternoon tea, evening cocktails, desserts and cordials (as part of club lounge access)
- Spent: SGD$638.89
Check-in
Guests with club lounge access have the option of checking in either at the reception on level 1 or directly at the club lounge on level 32. This time, it was Mahesh, the friendly guest services manager, who escorted us up to check in at the lounge.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by one of the staff, Jithra, who then ushered us to a table and promptly assisted us with the check-in. We also got to meet and chat with Chuck, the club lounge manager, who came across as a really approachable and candid guy. He very kindly upgraded us to the Club Premier Suite too as we were celebrating my birthday, super thankful! ❤

Room
Our assigned suite was at the corner of level 29, allowing us to enjoy the Marina Bay view from the living room and bedroom, as well as the Singapore Flyer view from the bathroom. Later at night, we were able to catch the Marina Bay Sands light and water show (albeit without sound) right from our living room sofa as well. Not only was it such a luxury to have so much space to spare, there was also no fault to be found with either the hardware or hygiene standards (:
Some bonus differences in the bathroom here (compared to the one in the Club Deluxe Marina Room from our last stay) were the double vanities, his and hers bathrobes with differing lengths, as well as an electronic bidet. The bed, however, was as soft as I remember it to be (I prefer firmer ones). Unlike the previous time, my firm pillow request took unusually long to be fulfilled. Thankfully, it arrived promptly after I went directly to the club concierge.

With prior knowledge that the amenity cakes here usually have nuts in them, I wrote in to ask if they could provide an alternative. Upon entering the room, I was absolutely delighted to find a super cute cake made entirely out of fruits! This was certainly a unique first and I totally loved it, healthier choice for the win 😀
Turndown service (not automatically provided) came with bookmarks and chocolates in addition to the usual housekeeping routine. I noticed that the bookmarks we received had the exact same design as the ones we got during our previous stay. As such, I called to check if we could swap ours for a different design. To my surprise, a housekeeping staff showed up with a smile and an entire set of bookmarks for us to keep! What a nice gesture (:

Facilities
The highlight of this hotel for me has always been the club lounge, where they serve a total of five meal presentations a day! During our stay, these were the timings for each presentation:
– Breakfast (7am to 10.30am)
– Mid-day snacks (12pm to 2pm)
– Afternoon tea (2.30pm to 4.30pm)
– Evening cocktails and hors d’oeuvres (5.30pm to 7.30pm)
– Desserts and cordials (8pm to 9.30pm)
Given that covid restrictions were mostly lifted, they brought back the easel and drawing materials in The Drawing Room (nestled at the back of the lounge) for guests to use freely. I was very inspired by the breathtaking view but I had no faith in my ability to replicate it on paper 😛

The menu was pretty similar to what we had when we last stayed here, where just about everything was tasty and enjoyable. Food and drinks, including some alcoholic ones, are free-flow so you can order as much as you want (I had a glass of mimosa at almost every seating). I highly recommend the tender beef bourguignon served during evening cocktails, though it seemed like they shrank the portion such that I could actually finish two servings. The comforting black chicken herbal soup is a must-try too! They also brought back the live station during breakfast service where the chef could customize our egg orders.
Service here was just as stellar as I remember it to be. All the staff were ever-ready to assist with a smile or to engage guests in conversation. Many thanks to Celestine who recommended the combination of Rooibos vanilla tea with honey when I was hard-pressed to make a decision, it was a delightful combo indeed!

I covered the other facilities such as the pool, gym and spa (which all staying guests have access to) in detail in my previous post, so do refer to that if you’d like more information (:
All club guests can also enjoy a one-way limousine drop-off service within the bay area. You just have to inform the lounge staff closer to the time you need the ride (no prior reservations allowed, oddly enough) and they’ll make the necessary arrangements. I planned to do some shopping at Marina Bay Sands that afternoon and my ride was a different, much larger one this time. All in all, a practical and value-added service!

My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars. It was an absolute treat to experience the glorious Club Premier Suite that was simply humongous for the two of us, on top of the mesmerizing views of Marina Bay and the Singapore Flyer! I didn’t feel the need to venture out for food as all our meals were comfortably settled in the club lounge with delectable fare. In addition, the lounge staff never failed to make us feel well taken care of given their warm dispositions and attention to detail. Even the Marriott Bonvoy live agent had me impressed! I requested for a plaster via the in-app chat function and she extended her concern by asking me whether I was okay, so heartwarming (: Much to my wallet’s dismay, I have us booked for our third stay at the Club Deluxe Kallang Room just because. If I’m ever looking for a grand hotel where I’ll feel pampered and thoughtfully attended to, this one is undoubtedly at the top of my list ❤
If this post helped you in some way and you’d like to buy me a coffee, I’d be incredibly grateful (:
