As my husband and I were relatively early for our flight to Bangkok at Terminal 3, I decided to check out this airport lounge with the Priority Pass membership. If you aren’t holding any memberships that come with complimentary access to this lounge, you can pay a fee to use it for a specified number of hours. Once you’ve made it past the immigration gates, turn left and take the escalator up to level 3 to locate it. It is open 24 hours every day.

When we arrived, there was quite a fair bit of seating to choose from but once the crowds started streaming in, the seats with tables were the first ones to get snapped up. The good thing was that despite the crowd, it still felt comfortable enough as the overall design allowed for an adequate amount of personal space.
Everything was sufficiently clean, though some furniture did have bits of food stains on them. Used crockery and utensils were promptly cleared by the staff as well to keep the environment pleasant. You can even enjoy an airside view (albeit an obstructed one) of the tarmac and departure spaces below. Regrettably, I didn’t get to survey the restrooms as they seemed perpetually occupied during our time here.

There were massage chairs towards the back of the lounge and a partitioned section with individual work stations and more seating. During our visit, the entrance to this section was cordoned off for reasons unbeknownst to us. A pity, it looked like a very cosy spot to relax in.

For sustenance, we helped ourselves to a buffet spread of cereal, bread, salad and cold cuts, as well as various hot dishes like fried noodles, frittata, hashbrowns and more. There were also drink options such as coffee, tea, soft drinks, carton juices, milk and alcohol. Not forgetting the self-service laksa station where you get to put together your own bowl of laksa. I liked this dish the most as the broth was fragrant and flavourful with a mild spicy kick. My husband and I both relished the texture of the congee and the tender chicken chunks in it too.
Do note that some of the dishes may be replaced with alternatives once they run out. From the time we came in to the time we exited, items like the fried noodles were swapped out for curry chicken and rice.

My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars. A generally clean and comfortable space with an open, breezy vibe, especially if you’re seated closer to the area overlooking the tarmac. Thankfully, it wasn’t too crowded during the time of our visit and I liked that the seats were pretty spaced out. The food and beverage selection had a good variety and tasted okay for the most part. I’d definitely recommend the laksa (: All in all, a decent option for a standard airport lounge!
If this post helped you in some way and you’d like to buy me a coffee, I’d be incredibly grateful (:
