Having finished our dinner supplement just next door at Yuzu Ramen, my husband and I moved over to this cafe for some dessert. Nestled on level 6 of ICONSIAM shopping mall, this popular brand originating from Korea currently has many outlets across Bangkok and is known for their breads and toasts. Armed with a THB1000 gift card that I bought for $28 on Trip.com, the bill for this after-dinner treat was thus completely covered!

- Our order:
- Combo (butter + souffle) french toast with vanilla ice cream (365++)
- Spent: THB401.50
The modern minimalistic aesthetic exuded a bright and airy vibe that was very inviting. In fact, this was what first drew my attention to and piqued my interest in this cafe. While ordering at the counter, I faced a decision paralysis as there were plenty of choices on the menu, so I had to ask the staff for their recommendations. We ultimately decided on their signature combination of butter and souffle french toast.

Our order came nicely plated on a wooden board with icing on top in the shape of toast. It was wonderfully moist and buttery with the perfect level of sweetness! Unfortunately, the ice cream did little to value-add to the dish as it was rather bland, thin and frankly, quite forgettable.

My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars. A very comfy place to hang out for desserts and conversations in a relaxed ambience. I suspect if we weren’t so full from dinner (given that we had two rounds of it) and it wasn’t so close to the mall’s closing time, we might’ve been able to stay for longer and sample a greater variety from their menu. The signature combo french toast that we tried was delicious and I’d love to be back to try the other items! However, as with other shops in the mall, prices here weren’t cheap despite the small portion sizes.
If this post helped you in some way and you’d like to buy me a coffee, I’d be incredibly grateful (:
