My husband and I initially planned to grab a small bite at Kopitiam By Wilai Cafe before walking over to Kim’s Massage & Spa for our appointment, but unfortunately, the cafe was completely full when we visited! As a result, we had to search for another place to eat at.
After considering the other options along the nearby streets, we decided to head to Wan Fang Cafe. We actually earmarked this place when we spotted it while strolling through Lard Yai Sunday Walking Street Market last night. Glad we got an opportunity to check it out!

- Our order:
- Smoked duck black noodle (THB150)
- Iced wild honey jasmine pearl tea (THB100)
- Hot premium milk tea (THB55)
- Spent: THB305
It has a small but contemporary interior with very limited seats for dining in. I observed that most of the customers were ordering takeouts as the menu largely consisted of specialty bubble tea drinks. As for food options, they offered a grand total of four dishes on the menu at the time we visited.

The dish we ordered to share was the smoked duck black noodle. It was super flavourful and really quite addictive, but it did pack a spicy punch, even for my husband who has a decent spice tolerance.

I got myself a light and refreshing iced wild honey jasmine pearl tea to cool off from the sweltering heat. I was even able to select my preferred sweetness level from 0% to 125%. My husband opted for a hot premium milk tea, which was equally fragrant and yummy.

My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars. If you’re looking for delicious and fragrant specialty bubble tea, this is definitely the place to visit! The menu offers a wide variety of beverage options made with premium ingredients, as well as a handful of food options. We really enjoyed the smoked duck black noodle, super tasty with a spicy kick. Staff were quite friendly and welcoming too. My only gripe is that there isn’t much seating space inside so it can get pretty crowded in an instant. Having said that, this cafe has become a sort of landmark we revisit every time we return to Old Phuket Town!
If this post helped you in some way and you’d like to buy me a coffee, I’d be incredibly grateful (:
