Kim’s Massage & Spa is a pretty highly rated brand online with many branches across the island. This particular one at Thalang Road is nestled within a two-storey shophouse and was newly opened at the time of our visit, offering a range of massage and facial treatments for a fairly decent price!
Making a reservation was easy and straightforward via Whatsapp, plus their responses were prompt too. My husband and I opted for the After Sun Treatment since we needed to recover from our UV exposure on our Phi Phi Islands Sunrise Tour the previous day.

The moment we arrived, a staff offered us cold towels and drinks. I was glad to see that it wasn’t too crowded. Once they confirmed our reservation and we made payment, our masseuses gave us a foot scrub before ushering us to the couple treatment room upstairs.
The treatment room was a simple, aesthetically pleasing space with clean linen. Our treatment began with a 60-minute aloe vera gel massage. I must say that my masseuse was rather skilful indeed. I generally prefer low-pressure massages but even in her gentle execution, there was a confident firmness when she targeted certain pressure points that really helped relieve my muscle aches from all that night market walking.
She was also responsive when I requested for the air-conditioning to be made warmer (the aloe vera gel was extremely cold to the touch and I got chilly halfway through). She promptly adjusted the temperature and even put an extra blanket over me on her own initiative ❤
Next up was the 60-minute aloe vera gel facial. This entailed a face and head massage, followed by a scrub, and then a gel mask that was left to sit for about 10 minutes. The whole session ended with some good old Thai stretching that was modified to accommodate my inflexible muscles 😛
Back at the waiting area, we were served hot tea and a sweet pastry, along with a hot towel to freshen up.
My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars. We had a fantastic massage and facial experience here, from the clean and modern spaces to the competent and attentive masseuses! Treatment beds were comfortable and had just the right firmness. The two hours of treatment made us feel super relaxed and it was priced relatively reasonably too. Service staff always had a smile on their faces and were very welcoming as well. All in all, we enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this outlet!
