Diora Spa has a number of outlets in the Central Bangkok area, all of which are pretty accessible via MRT or BTS. The one that my husband and I visited was located at Sukhumvit, with the nearest stations being Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. Their spa menu consists mostly of massages and scrubs, with a singular facial offering.
I learned about this place while browsing Bangkok spa listings on Klook and decided to purchase an open-dated voucher using discounted Klook credits from AMEX. With this voucher, we made a reservation for our preferred date and time with the spa. This was easily done via WhatsApp.
When we arrived at the location, I was surprised to see that it was a building all on its own, with a security guard on duty at the drop-off point no less. Definitely exuding exclusive vibes. Anyway, as we were a little too early for our time slot, we hopped over to Doi Soi 12 Cafe, the restaurant just across the street, for dinner first.

- Inclusions:
- 90-minute aromatherapy oil massage for 2
- Spent: SGD$118.48
Stepping through the doors, we were immediately greeted by the calming scents of essential oils and an absolutely luxurious reception area. The interiors were a soothing palette that created a minimalist zen kind of atmosphere.

A staff brought us cold towels, tea and bottled water, as well as two vouchers of THB200 off their products with no minimum spend. We then filled up a form to indicate our preferred pressure and areas for our masseuses to focus on (though oddly enough, there was nowhere to indicate the areas to avoid).

After that, we selected our aromatherapy oils – I went for Mistique Glow while my husband opted for Refreshing Caress. I had a hard time choosing because all of them smelled equally heavenly!

Next, we had a brief foot wash and scrub in an alluring set-up before being ushered to our couple treatment room.

The treatment room smelled wonderful and was spacious with a shower area and sink, but no toilet though. Everything looked hygienic and comfortable.
My masseuse, Add, thoughtfully pointed me to the bed that didn’t have the air-conditioning blasting at it, even without me saying anything about it (: I’m guessing she observed that I was rubbing my hands together on the way up. She also made sure my extremities were fully covered with a towel throughout the treatment.
Additionally, the massage oil was warm each time she applied it (it might’ve been kept in a hot flask), which I really loved. During the second half of the massage where we had to face upwards, they wrapped a hot pad around our necks too, so comfy!

All in all, my massage was super comfortable, one of the best ones I’ve had in a long time. She knew the right places to apply pressure on, which were the muscles and not the bones like many other masseuses have done. As a result, there wasn’t as much pain involved so I could properly relax and be completely at rest. The only minor issue was that the base of her thumbs were very slim, so even though her pressure in general was perfect, it did feel a little too concentrated and harder than expected at some points.
After our massage, we were given time to shower. Fresh towels were provided but as the water wasn’t hot enough, I decided not to go ahead.

They then showed us to a separate relaxation area near the entrance before serving us tea, a hot towel and a yummy shredded coconut snack.

My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars. I haven’t been quite this impressed by a massage experience in a while! The spaces were beautiful, clean and inviting, and the amount of thought that went into ensuring customer comfort was just phenomenal and unlike anything I’ve encountered before. During our treatment, the aromatherapy oil remained warm with every fresh application, hot neck pads were used (this was a first for us!), plus my masseuse kept my limbs that weren’t being massaged always toasty under the covers ❤ The massage itself was very relaxing because the pressure was just right for me and the massage oil scent was really lovely. Even though the price is slightly more expensive by Bangkok standards, I wouldn’t hesitate to return again for another round of pampering!
If this post helped you in some way and you’d like to buy me a coffee, I’d be incredibly grateful (:
