With our Priority Pass in hand, my husband and I visited The Coral Executive Lounge in Terminal 1 of Don Mueang International Airport. This was one of the three lounge options available on Priority Pass at this terminal, and I gravitated towards this one as I liked the vibe more.
The main entrance to the lounge is situated straight ahead past the immigration and baggage check area. Once the staff at the reception has noted your means of entry, you may take the escalator down to the actual lounge area.

One side of the lounge comprises the dining area while the other side is a good spot with high stools to plane-watch, though most areas do already enjoy unobstructed views of the tarmac. The furniture is quite tightly packed together so it felt like a bit of a squeeze, but at least they all generally seemed stain-free and well-maintained.
It was fairly crowded when we arrived so many of the prized plush chairs were occupied. The staff mentioned that certain spaces were undergoing renovation at the time of our visit and that there were no bathrooms located within the lounge. In terms of service, the staff were polite and helpful when called upon but mostly kept to themselves otherwise.

There was a decent spread of food with many hot items to choose from, such as rice, fried noodles, curries and spaghetti. Basic sandwiches, salad and cereal were available as well. Everything tasted quite average, but the ginger chicken and curry chicken dishes were really flavourful and tender.
Drink options included the regular soft drinks, apple and orange juices, as well as a bar for alcohol and specialty drinks (like the chocomint drink we got).

My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars. This lounge provided a modern and hygienic space to relax in with largely decent food options while we waited for our flight. There was plenty of natural light and I quite liked the quieter spot with the high stools facing the windows, perfect for staring out into the distance and enjoying airside views. However, the space did feel a little cramped due to the furniture arrangement, likely in a bid to maximize seating capacity. Also, it would’ve been more convenient if there were bathrooms accessible from inside the lounge (hopefully this will be added as part of their renovation plans). All things considered, it is still a comfortable lounge that I would definitely wouldn’t mind visiting again!
If this post helped you in some way and you’d like to buy me a coffee, I’d be incredibly grateful (:
