Graph is a local brand that began as a concept back in 2009, with its founders setting up their very first coffee shop in a small province of Thailand the year after. Today, they own over 10 branches across the country (most of which are located in Chiang Mai), with some focusing on different coffee varieties, while others focus on other products like burgers and matcha.
My husband and I chanced upon their branch in Phuket while strolling along the Lard Yai Sunday Walking Market on our last trip here. Its exterior really intrigued me for some reason and I told my husband then that we have to come back to check it out, so here we are!

- Our order:
- Monochrome (THB150)
- Woodland (THB155)
- Chocolate madeleine (THB60)
- Spent: THB365
The cafe had an interesting aesthetic, with raw finishes on the walls and lots of wood elements. There were effectively two and a half levels worth of seating space – we ended up sitting on the second storey loft such that we were away from the bustle but still privy to the coffee-making action. The third level was decked out in cooler tones and wasn’t as crowded as the other two levels during our visit.
While placing our order at the counter, the staff was very helpful in recommending some sweeter coffee options to my husband, whose decision-making abilities were apparently paralyzed by the extensive menu. To be fair, all the drinks looked super enticing and it was genuinely difficult to pick one!

My husband eventually settled on the Monochrome, made from espresso, activated charcoal, vanilla and milk (THB150). It was fragrant with a delectably smooth texture. He never imagined that charcoal and coffee would go well together but it worked wonderfully, plus the colour it became after mixing was a really pretty shade of grey.
I went with a non-coffee option – the Woodland, a concoction of cocoa, banana, milk, orange, and local dried banana coated with chocolate (THB155). This was quite rich and intense yet also smooth and very drinkable, with an evident flavour of infused orange. It felt like an elevated version of a regular chocolate drink. Alas, I didn’t quite like the dried banana as it was too hard.
Out of curiosity, I decided to try the chocolate madeleine (THB60). There was a selection of strawberry, chocolate and matcha flavoured ones. My only complaint was that the portion was small but otherwise, it had a fantastic texture and was neither too dense nor too sweet ❤

My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars. Everything we tried here tasted really good – I appreciated the fact that the drinks were designed, executed and presented with such thought and precision! If only the madeleine were of a larger portion size as I just couldn’t get enough of its deliciousness. The atmosphere was also buzzing with vibrant energy as customers walked in and out of the store while baristas busied themselves with preparing the orders. Of course, the ever-present aroma of freshly made coffee was certainly the icing on the cake. All in all, despite the slightly higher price tags here, I would definitely visit them again, hopefully with a bigger group so we can try more items on the menu 😀
If this post helped you in some way and you’d like to buy me a coffee, I’d be incredibly grateful (:
